Previous blog post was about my stay at Grand Deluxe Room Pullman Hotel, while this post is about my experience about the fabulous dining experiences. Below is some brief intro about Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar:

Grand Deluxe Room (12th Floor Room 22)

当天下了飞机，吃了顿午餐，便搭德士前往吉隆坡铂尔曼酒店。我入住的是行政楼层商务豪华套房，到了接待处登记后，接待员便把我领到二十六楼的行政酒廊进行登记手续，我特别喜欢员工们的亲切，待人彬彬有礼的态度。整个登记手续都在轻松地谈话间完成。回到房间，放置行李后，在高处看看外头的风景，很大很大的雨落下，这座城市的尘埃被洗得干净，隔着玻璃窗，房里全是清新雨的味道。

Once I arrive at Kuala Lumpur and had my lunch, I straight away call a taxi and heading to Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar. I stay at their Grand Deluxe Room. Since it is "Grand Deluxe", I had been bring to Executive Lounge on 26th floor to check in. All the staff there are so nice and friendly. It just take a while to complete the whole check in process. It was raining cats and dogs that day once I check in, but the rain just wash off all the dust and I enjoy the freshness of the city.

再过一个星期就是圣诞节，我没什么特别的圣诞庆祝计划。在我印象中，除了几次与友人聚餐交换礼物，二十多年来我的圣诞节过得挺平凡无味的。家人亲友大多不是基督徒，通常都只是到外头图个圣诞节气氛，没有固定的庆祝方式。难得这一次有机会参与Novotel Kuala Lumpur City Centre 酒店举办的圣诞节感恩夜，还邀请在大马缅甸难民小孩关爱团体My Myanmar Refugee Children - United Learning Centre一起参与圣诞晚宴，让我过了非一般的感恩节日。

Christmas is coming in just 1 week and yet I do not have any plan for this year Christmas celebration. For me, Christmas celebration is just gathering with a bunch of friends and have gifts exchanged. Since I’m not a Christian, I do not have any specific way of celebration. It’s just going out there and enjoys the atmosphere that full of Christmas feel. I’m so happy that I had been invited by Novotel Kuala LumpurCity Centre to attend a Christmas appreciation event. They also invite children from My Myanmar Refugee Children - United Learning Centre along to join the dinner. This is such meaningful and memorable night in my life.

我们沿着峇都丁宜山路蜿蜒而上，露天巴士行驶缓慢，岛屿的海景在树木间若隐若现。空阔地段，放眼望去是开阔的海平线、蓝天白云、渐层的海，而围绕着我们的是明媚阳光，山间风景，还有那欢畅放松的心情与欢笑，原来人在自然中是可以如此轻易的心旷神怡。风拂过脸颊的温暖，我细细看一片居住了二十多年的海，平静宽阔，仿佛享受生活就像不必在乎一趟旅程的目的地，而是体验将沿途风光尽收眼帘的美好。

The journey begins where we hop on an open-air bus. Along the direction to Batu Ferringhi, the view of island and sea was looming among the leaves. Blue sky and the gradient of the sea water can be seen clearly. Feel the wind blowing through the cheek and have a look to the place that you had been stay for the past 20 years. To enjoy life seems as easy as starting a journey without caring of the destiny and most of the time you will experience the most unexpected things out of your imagination.

我想起读过的圣诞节小故事。

〈麦琪的礼物〉讲述圣诞除夕夜一个年轻的贫穷夫妻为了给对方买份礼物，费尽心思，妻子卖掉一头美丽秀发为丈夫配上一幅做工精巧的表链，而丈夫却卖掉手表为妻子买了一套她梦想拥有的百老汇梳子，可最终在交换礼物时却排不上任何用场。短短的故事告诉了人们世间上最宝贵且无法替代的礼物是——爱。

我想，人们相惜相爱，是发自内心为对方付出，倾尽自己所有。爱不是挂在嘴边的几句复读的言甜蜜语，重要的是愿不愿意为对方付出，一个简单实用又意义的礼物，和一个拥吻也许是温馨佳节真情付出的表现。

Christmas remind me of a short story that I read before.

〈The Gift of the Magi〉is about a young married couple that came across lots of challenging in order to just buying a Christmas gift for each other with their poor income condition. The wife who called Della sell her hair to a nearby hairdresser in order to buy a fob chain for her husband who known as Jim. While Jim sell his watch in order to buy a comb that Della dream about it so much. In the end, they just realize that the gift that they bought was not applicable and useful at all. This short story told us that the most valuable gift in the world is something you could not buy with money, which is LOVE.
