Joyeux Penang (Brunch & Breakfast Restaurant, Jalan Nagore)

吉隆坡有几间不错的简约咖啡馆，透过玻璃自然采光，木制座椅橱柜摆设，大地色系配件地砖等营造出简约的时尚感，挺适合喝上一杯咖啡，翻上几页书，思考整理笔记。一个人闲逛吉隆坡，美丽的午后基本上都在忘我的发呆和摩卡冷却的时光中流失。槟城就是少了这类咖啡馆，一般所谓的「特色咖啡馆」都被一些装潢噱头和宣传弄得眼花缭乱，好不容易在近期看到一些简约风格的小餐馆。

我和朋友说，看Joyeux面子书的照片，觉得这个地方好「Instagram」，尤其是上楼的顶上的灯泡装置，可惜我们抵达时外头下着大雨，服务生告知屋檐漏雨暂不开放，错过了照片中浪漫的谈话地点，不过底楼简约的木质装修确实让人轻松。

Finally we have time to meet again after some time and we decided to meet up since all of us are free. There are no reason that we should not meet up every time we are at Penang. We just have never ending topics to talk and endless laughter in our outing. There will be never enough outing for us if we have free time to meet up.

We still remember that day we decided to pay a visit to Joyeux. It was a rainy night with very comfy weather. We have no idea where is the exact location of it, we just follow the not very trustable GPS to guide us there. End up we make 3 rounds to finally found Joyeux because we could not find any signboard of their shop. They just have a small banner that place in front of their entrance to prove that there is Joyeux. To be honest, you will easily miss their shop if you do not pay much attention. But in a good way, it means that it is a very low profile and cozy place to hang out without having to squeeze with crowds.

餐厅的菜单简单，白纸黑纸和一片褐色皮革绑在一起，晚上提供的选择不多。对于饮料，还是有些失望的，既然选择不多，那么就应该让顾客有些精致的惊喜，而不是喝着如同茶包冲泡的百香果，单调的苏打水。喝咖啡是一件乐事，无奈何我怕喝了睡不着，好几个月都不敢在夜里偷尝。主食和甜点令人满意，只不过比萨饼味道偏咸，我算是重口味者，却抗拒这咸味。最可口的还是长形松饼，那甜的滋味像恶魔一样诱惑你。

Their menu is so simply yet chic with very clean design and mixture of different texture with is paper and leather. They do not have much to choose from their menu especially the drinks. We feel a bit disappointed with their drink, one is due to their limited choices and other is it is just a very simple drinks. It should be more refine since they only have a few selection and we taught that they can spend more time to make their drinks more tempting. Ok, enough for the critics. We are very satisfied with their food served and also their dessert. Just a little comment is it is slightly salty for us, may be u guys will feel ok with it coz everyone taste bud is different. we highly recommend their dessert, especially their Eclair. 100% marks for it. Good job.

这里的情调不太适合外头下着雨，毕竟餐厅主打早午餐，或许我们应该在蓬勃的朝阳渐透云层升起，干净的浅蓝天空下，看着光线横着窗洒满一地，踩着影子吃个早食甜食。如此令人满足，富有诱惑力的早晨，任谁都无法不觉得小确幸吧。

Joyeux is more on breakfast and brunch. We also feel that it will be nice it we visit on morning with all the natural light. It will a be a simply breakfast at a comfy enviroment. That's life. So, take a break!!!

无缘上楼，只好在楼梯留个影

当晚回来，睡不着，继续啃读加西亚·马尔克斯的《霍乱时期的爱情》，摘了以上这段话，顺便把它记录在这篇帖子中提醒自己一些道理：很多时候，我们都被固有的衡量标准限制了，那要如何才能真正成为生活的主人。
