那是上个月的事情，我们晚餐后想找个舒适的小店续杯，顺便谈谈生活趣事。 Chez Nous 是一间让人不经意就会错过的小店，不过得知这间店已久，只是找不到对的时间到访，刚好那晚在那一带兜绕，就决定在下着雨的天喝上几杯小酒暖胃。我们在路口街道泊了车，撑着伞抵达门口时，一位亲切的洋人（过后在脸书发现是店家比利时籍老板）告诉我们厨房打烊了，只好离去，提醒自己下次要早点来。

This was happened since last month since we plan to visit Chez Nous. I still remember that after our dinner plus it was a rainy day, we decided to find a cafe that sell alcohol to let us warm up a bit. Ya.. I know... These was just our excuse to have some alcohol boost. But we were so unlucky that when we reach Chez Nous, we were told that their kitchen was closed. Too bad!!!

这一次，我们特别在晚餐时间到访。我喜欢店里简单不花俏的设计，每一周配合食材新鲜度更换一次一页菜单，或许有人会抱怨选择不多，但对于有选择恐惧和要求食物质量的我们来说确实是好事，不必劳心劳肺的拿捏不定要吃些什么，重点是厨房拿手的都精简写成一页，多么棒。

This time we learn the lesson and we purposely visit Chez Nous earlier. We reach there around dinner time and their shop already crowded with customer. But lucky enough, we manage to get a table and had our dinner here. We like their shop in the first impression once we reach there. Their design was very simply yet sophisticated. Their menu will changed according to the fresh daily ingredient that they manage to purchase that day. Most important is you don’t have much more choices to choose from their menu. There are just a simply 1 page menu where you only need to choose from it. So you can eliminate all those hesitation to choose what to eat. How great was it!!!

Belgian Shrimp Croquettes

餐厅的食物总体来说很美味，炸虾条外皮酥脆，虾只新鲜口感清爽。猪肉丸子鲜嫩多汁，还有那软滑的嚼劲配上比利时黑啤制成的浓郁酱汁，香醇的味道让人胃口大开，令人一吃难忘。芝士拼盘（可选三拼或五拼）配上核桃、葡萄和法式面包，卖相的确悦人眼目，尤其是木质小刀具，推荐给会欣赏奶酪的顾客，我们是尝鲜的，纯粹想感受不同的口感，不同奶酪不同的味觉层次感。

All the food served was just nice. The Belgium shrimp croquette was crispy in the outside and moist in it with all those fresh shrimp and white sauce. Boulets A la Liegeois is a meatballs dish where we give very big thumbs up to the sauce that served together. The specially made Guinness stout black sauce mixed with tender and juicy pork meatball was a perfect match. Don't forget to order their cheese platter too, where you can choose 3 or 5 types of cheese along with walnut, grapes and baguette. For those cheese’s lover out there, don't miss it.

其中，最惊艳我的一道菜是法国入口罐装橄榄油腌制的沙丁鱼配着面包和沙拉吃，同行的丽莉说：她仿佛吃下了整个海洋。你知道吗，那种海洋的味道在你味蕾散开，让你一下子置身深海之中，陶醉在暗色海景中与鱼共舞，那遥不可及的世界是一场深蓝色若隐若现的味觉记忆。

Finally the last and most delicious dish that we like the most is Out of a can. It is a French imported canned sardine that immerge in olive oil which come along with salad and baugette. You can taste he whole ocean in the first bite. It was just way too delicious. This is a MUST try dish that you should not missed if you visit Chez Nous.

这里售卖的比利时啤酒是不可错过的饮料，每一种啤酒都有其专属的杯子，顾客可根据喜爱的轻重口味要求店家推荐，无论是水果口味还是督威，泡沫细腻口感顺滑，相较一般的酒，这确实会让人回味。

They also sell variety of Belgium beer where each of it was served with their own glass. Duvel is more suitable for guys while Belgian Peach is more suitable for girls. If you can drink some beer, why not try it. You will love it.

我们的桌上有Trip Advisor的贴纸，回来后我上网查了查，原来在槟岛乔治市区的四百多间餐馆中，Chez Nous的食物与服务态度得到顾客的好评与赞赏（目前暂居第一位子，甚至排在本地美食之上），这结果并没有让我感到惊讶。我们从繁忙的晚餐时间待到打烊，店员还不忘提醒记得再来尝试招牌的青口料理。离开前往泊车处时，夜间微风吹来，让人感到十分快意。

We saw a Trip Advisor sticker in their table and Kim make a research about it. We just know that Chez Nous have most good review and customer satisfaction. They are in first place at the moment. We are agreed with it.
