这间咖啡馆的地点不易被发现，像建筑格局里「后院」的私人空间，高搭着凉棚，棚下有茶座儿，且在隐秘的时间隧道悄然开放，若不留心身边的风景，将与之擦肩而过。还记得第一次下午经过此处，咖啡馆还未开门营业。上周汶翰和朋友在 Gala House Restaurant & Café 吃顿生日晚餐后，决定在附近喝上一杯，一束淡光从咖啡馆发出，像磁铁般相吸，使你无法抗拒那股想要探索未知的力量。对，De Yard就是当晚的最佳选择。
Last week after my friend’s birthday celebration, we decided to go for second round. After have a discussion, we decided to pay a visit to De Yard Café. The reason we choose here is because we need some place to have a drinks and talks. So, De Yard Café is our choices.

汶翰说，踏入咖啡馆的第一印象非常奇妙，空荡荡的环境，一个人也没看见，桌上也没摆放任何餐具食物，好似他是第一个发现这片天地的人。不过，很快的就把目光和感受专注在咖啡馆的设计和情调的营造。很多古迹咖啡馆都会以七八十年代的古老物件装饰，可这咖啡馆最与众不同的是有一个传统的中国木制药材铺柜子，让我想起一些好听的中药名称：望月砂（兔子粪便）、白丁香（麻雀粪便）、夜明砂（蝙蝠粪便）等。墙上的巨大猫咪壁画以涂鸦的方式呈现，怀旧老故事与叛逆新世界，两个时代交错结合，而你是第一个到访新空间的人，感受着说不出怪异与新奇。
Once we enter De Yard Café, we feel quite weird that not even 1 customer there at the first floor. All the tables and chair are empty. But immediately we get attracted by the decoration in it. There are lots of antique stuffs that you had seen it long time ago. There are also a huge antique chinese herbal cabinet there that you only can see it in a really traditional and old chinese herbal shop. And also the huge cat mural on the other side of the wall gives a sense of conflict between ancient and modern.
听到楼上有人群的说话声，他们步行上楼。楼上两个空间——禁烟区与吸烟区。禁烟区灯光明亮，墙上满是文字笔画的涂写，几幅画几张照片几个柜子，适合几个朋友用餐交心。认真看每一个涂写，想象每一个曾经在这里发生的故事。可能是一个红衣女子为情宿醉，把痴痴等待的心情涂鸦成几个大大小小的圈圈，宁愿一辈子都在红线里兜兜转转，又或是某一名男子在暧昧不明时期写下几句情诗细语，不完整的句子，却不少真情流露的语句，读起来喜忧参半。
After that, we went to the second floor and now we saw people there. The decoration of this café is some sort of modern in an ancient way with some hint of gypsy feel in it. The second floor is divided into smoking area and non-smoking area. For non-smoking area, there are quite bright and is suitable for you and your friends to have some dinner and talk there.
吸烟区的灯光昏暗，靠着几盏小灯和几根蜡烛的燃烧散发微微光亮。这种气氛最适合和啤酒小聊。此外，咖啡馆也有提供空间让客人演唱，当天有一对来自西班牙的情侣，女孩拨动吉他弦唱情歌向她的男友表达爱意，十指紧扣轻轻哼着哭着笑着，直到天长地久。汶翰很幸运的看到这温暖动人的画面，真让我羡慕。
For smoking area, the lighting is quite dark with just a few lamp
and candle. Smoking area is more suitable if you just want to have a beer and
talk with your friend. At the smoking area, there also have a space for those
free jammers to perform. We are lucky enough that we get to see those free
jammers perform that night.

餐厅除了提供啤酒，也有小食，比如意大利面、沙拉、比萨等。汶翰一群六个人点了六瓶不同的啤酒，我想着又是一个畅所欲言，无所不谈的夜晚。
我喜欢咖啡馆布条的广告语：COZY PLACE FOR LITTLE TALKS.
They sold wide variety of beer there. Since we have 6 people, so we ordered 6 different beers so that we can compare which taste the best. They also have pasta, pizza, salads, soups and mains if you want to have dinner there.
