近期染上火锅瘾，一有机会便相约前往火锅馆，上个月也分享了两篇有关火锅的帖子：Eastern & Oriental Hotel 新春自助火锅和大山脚新开张的皇火锅。这一次，我们总算来到了慕名已久的桥林重庆火锅馆，满足了小小的心愿，却激起了更大的欲望，已经开始计划了接下来要去品尝的火锅馆。桥林火锅实在美味，回味无穷，值得推荐，或许大家可以趁着农历新年期间，到这儿同桌团圆而坐，同锅美味而食。

Recently we had a very serious hotpot addiction. We will find every opportunity to visit a different hotpot restaurant and enjoy it. Last month, we also shared 2 posts related to hotpot too. Eastern & Oriental Hotel New Year steamboat and Bukit Mertajamnewly opened Huang hotpot. We finally had to time to visit Chiow Lin hotpot restaurant which we always eager to try it. We really surprise with how good can a hotpot taste and it has provoked out desire to try other hotpot available in Penang. To be honest, we already plan to go to another hotpot restaurant soon. Chiow Lin hotpot is really delicious and we could not forget how tasty was it. During this coming Chinese New Year, you can bring your family to have a reunion dinner here. We promise they won’t disappoint you.

桥林重庆火锅馆：药膳滋补清汤锅

桥林重庆火锅馆烹煮的汤底非常有特色，分别为麻辣、干锅、药膳、酸菜系列，每一种汤锅的炒煮食材不同，有肉食和海鲜，菜单上大约有几十种选择。我们要了重庆麻辣火锅，麻烫的香气迷人，不过比较上火，搭配重庆绍粉，煮软后，糯糯的滑嫩入口，味道香浓醇厚；另一半则是药膳滋补清汤锅，配上多种药材熬成，清甜爽喉，吃多了一定有滋补养颜美容的功效。

沾酱方面，桥林火锅馆也提供自制香辣酱碟，不过青味过浓，口感不怎么好。有一道必点的是配料是滑嫩水晶猪肉片，把腌制好的肉片放入沸腾的锅里煮熟，捞起来时将呈现半透明的晶莹，又嫩又香，吃多了也不腻。桥林火锅馆的装潢不像其他火锅馆带有浓厚的东方元素，这儿只是一间双层老屋，复古的地砖和窗户，坐在这儿围炉，不热不闷，特别凉快，有一种家的味道，叫做温馨和质朴。

Chiow Lin hotpot restaurant offers distinctive broth which include spicy broth, dry hotpot, Chinese herbal broth, pickled vegetable soup and so on. There are meat and seafood with dozens of options on the menu for you to choose from. We had ordered Chong Qing spicy hotpot which is very fragrant and spicy. It is totally a perfect match if you add the Chong Qing noodle and let it soak up all the flavor inside the spicy broth. It is so soft and smooth with a spicy kick in it. We also choose Chinese herbal broth as the other half of the pot. It claimed to be very nourishing and nutritious since they had added variety of herbs in the broth.

They also served their homemade chili sauce which we do not like the taste. Another ingredient which is a must order is tender crystal pork. The meat is lightly marinated so that it still remains the original taste of the meat. We suggest you that let the meat to cook for a longer period which we found out these are the best way to eat it. The meat is tender and fragrant where you can’t stop eating it. Chiow Lin hotpot restaurant do not have a fancy decoration. Unlike other hotpot restaurants which have a strong oriental element in their decoration, here is a double story old house with vintage tiles and windows. It is very comfortable having hotpot here. Here give you the feeling of having hotpot at your house, which is very cozy and rustic.
