This is our first time visit to G Hotel Kelawai and we totally amazed by their contemporary architecture. 2PM lounge which located at ground floor have a simple yet stylish design. The glass wall allows natural light to shine into the lounge which put in so much live in it. The designer create a very relaxing yet comfortable environment by using metal and glass as decoration which brings out the texture of the fabric and wood. By sitting in this area, you will naturally blend into the mood and enjoy a glass of wine.

Wine O’Clock promotion is available daily at 2PM lounge and Gravity rooftop bar. There are 3 types of white wine, 2 types of rose wine and 3 types of red wine for you to enjoy in this 1 hour time.

G Hotel Kelawai also put a lot of effort in selecting the suitable and appropriate wine glass when they served you the wine so that the fragrance of the wine will be preserved. The best way to taste a wine is by pairing it with the right food. You can order some food to pair it with your wine which will be charge separately. 建议从简单易饮的白葡萄酒开始品尝，Tocornal (Sauvignon Blanc) 有清爽的多果味口感，柑橘类果实香气芬芳，不过酸度较高，但搭配适合的料理，比如熏鸭肉卷、炸肉团饺子等开胃前菜，就会变得特别顺口。接着，可以品尝玫瑰红葡萄酒酒，Trapiche Vineyard以多种红色莓果和草莓酿制，能升华沙拉和鱼类的味道，推荐搭配烟熏三文鱼三明治。

红葡萄酒方面，Aura Shiraz与肉类料理搭配让人欢愉，淡淡的巧克力气息，搭配烤牛肉配法国鹅肝，口腔中肉质的鲜嫩和果香交融的滋味很是幸福。其实，分享有关酒的部落文字挺有难度的，当然可以简单地整理出料理与酒搭配好坏，但每一瓶酒的酝酿都有背后的故事，当下的心境也会让你产生不同的感受，有机会你就应该来这儿试验一下各种料理与酒相互搭配的微妙。

To start the enjoyment of drinking, we suggest you to start with the wine with lighter taste which is white wine. You can opt for Tocornal (Sauvignon Blanc) which is made in Chile. It have a citrus aromas combined with stone fruits and slight herbal traces. It is slightly sour in taste but it taste better when we paired it with some appetizer such as duck wrapper and dumplings.

Moving on to the rose wine series Trapiche Vineyard comes with a blend of Carbernet Sauvugnon and Malbec, presenting the aromas of black fruit and strawberry. It is perfect to pair it with fish, salad or slightly seasoned cuisine such as Salmon sandwich. While for the red wine, Aura Shiraz comes with aromas of red fruits and hints of chocolate. The red wine opens to a rich and textural palate supported by silky tannins and a long lingering finish. It will enhance the flavor of beef, lamb and spicy food.

Actually there are some difficulties in sharing a blog post about wine tasting. It can be as simple as we just tell you which wine is good or bad. But the story of brewing each bottle of wine and your current mood also will affect the wine tasting experience. So, you can pay a visit and try it out yourself.
