很少介绍槟城北海的美食，居住了二十多年，常常往不同的餐馆和路边摊子吃，已经习惯在地的味道。这种习惯不见得是一件好事，习惯会让我们吃得匆忙快速，而忘了应该要好好品尝食物的美味。吃火锅却是例外，每一次慢慢品尝都能带来不同的感受，刺激食欲，仿佛火锅里滚烫着生活的味道，五味杂陈的味觉记忆。

It’s strange that we rarely introduce food available at Butterworth. May be we already stay here for more than 20 years and get use to all the food here. We start to forget about how delicious the food we ate every day. When it comes to hotpot, we tend to slow down and truly enjoy it. We taste it carefully and enjoy the excitement that a good hotpot broth brings to us. Having hot pot is a good way that we connect with each other and share our taught, problem and also happiness together.

接受星洲日报《找你喝茶》系列的採访，在慵懒的午后和记者喜明聊起对国内外部落格的想法，这一谈话厘清了设立TAB部落的初衷与未来的走向。

TAB是我们四人的心血，是彼此性格差异碰撞出的火花，激发出的灵感，更是培养生活热情和维持交流的一种方式。一开始只为记录吃喝玩乐，分享美食和旅行资讯，期间还因为生活忙碌被迫把部落格搁着好几个月。现在任性了，用心设计每一张照片，加入自己喜欢的元素，包括文字诗歌、书籍音乐等，有意的注入人文的气息。

无论什么内容，部落格是一个散布美好事物的平台。

TAB相信，唯有不断练习你心目中理想的生活，你才有可能变成理想的自己。TAB的内容和格式没有限定在框架里，所以至今都还没有明确的定位，毕竟想尝试各种可能性，寻找个性的张力和自由，打造一个包容性很强的平台，甚至是具有美感的品牌。

人们需要学习用心感受世间的美丽，用短短的一生去做自己喜欢的事情。希望TAB在传达资讯以外，还可以让大家感受到生活中微小确实的幸福，激起大家对生活的期待。重要的东西都是肉眼无法见到的，如果曾经触动我们心灵的事物也让你感动，我们会感到欣慰和温暖。
