Christmas is a festive season where people celebrate
it with light and music. Christmas tree is fully decorated with novelty
ornaments and shiny tinsel. Family and friends gathers and celebrate this
festive season with food and gifts. This is also the time you can feast on all
kind of desserts and do not feel guilty on it. During this festive season.
E&O hotel has brought to you their very own Christmas and New Year buffet.
This is the time you can pamper yourself for the effort and hard work you had done
throughout the year with good variety of food.

圣诞自助大餐的选择丰富,主打包括传统烤火鸡配蔓越莓酱汁和栗子肉卷、烤羊配洋葱土豆丝和热炒蘑菇、芽甘蓝菜等。冷盘以日式生鱼片和寿司为主,厨师发挥创意用甜菜根来腌制三文鱼片、渍鲑鱼片配上自制的酸芥末茴香酱、芝麻裹金枪鱼等。接着,来点新鲜沙拉和生猛海鲜开开胃,鲜美生蚝,纽西兰青口,水煮虾和小龙虾,旭蟹都不失作为开始一顿晚餐的好选择。
各国的主食料理是当晚我最钟情的部分。香甜的南瓜烤栗子浓汤适合暖胃,顺滑入口不腻,还带点法式风情。松仁和柠檬皮焖羊膝是我的心头好,羊肉软嫩醇香,炖煮的肉汁浓厚,在嘴里化开的感觉过瘾。传统罗望子炒虎虾的肉质有弹性,酸酸甜甜的地道家乡味。最后,吃口玻璃匙上的甘草焦糖布蕾,或圣诞糕点饼干,再以英国的传统百果甜派来结束美好的一餐,熬煮后的果皮果肉馅非常非常的甜。
There are huge varieties of food you can
choose from their Christmas buffet menu. Carvery includes Roasted
whole Tom Turkey with cranberry sauce & chestnut stuffing and Beef prime
roast with Lyonnaise potatoes &
mushroom fricassee. Chef also shows
their creativity by using Beetroot marinated salmon side, Homemade gravlax, with fresh dill &
lemon wedges mustard dill dressing. For
appetizer, you can start with some fresh salad and seafood. Green New
Zealand mussels, local poached prawns, yabbies, poached crayfish, spanner crab,
fresh oyster with Salsa is among the
seafood that you should not miss.
Their International Hot Dishes is one of my favorites
during that night. Butternut squash and roasted chestnut soup warm
your stomach and the texture is very smooth. Braised lamb shank with
pine nuts and lemon rind is my favorite.
The lamb is very soft and the gravy is thick and flavorful. The fragrant that
you get when you chew the meat is very satisfying. The traditional assam
king tiger Prawns have a sweet and sour taste which tastes very
good too. Lastly, had a mouthful of Liquorice cremebrulée in a spoon or Christmas cookies and some Minced
pie to end up the night.

- Cold Buffet Section: Beetroot marinated salmon side, Homemade gravlax, Sesame coated tuna, Japanese seaweed and soba noodle salad, soya and ginger dip, Seafood terrine and galantines
- Japanese Plater: Assortment of Nigiri sushi, maki rolls, Sashimi and california rolls
- Fresh Seafood on Ice: Green New Zealand mussels, local poached prawns, yabbies, poached crayfish, spanner crab, fresh oyster with Salsa
- Soups & Hot Seafood Selection: Butternut squash and roasted chestnut soup, Oysters gratinated with special sauce
- Carvery: Roasted whole Tom Turkey with cranberry sauce & chestnut stuffing, Beef prime roast with Lyonnaise potatoes and mushroom fricassee, Oven roasted medley of root vegetable, brussel sprouts, creamy cinnamon sweet potatoes
- International Hot Dishes: Braised lamb shank with pine nuts and lemon rind, Seared snapper, Roasted chicken breast filled with seafood mousseline with crustacean butter, Traditional assam king tiger Prawns, Braised baby bok choy with superior mushrooms, Yong chow fried rice with ‘silver fish’ in lotus leaf
