吉隆坡铂尔曼酒店 · 一日三餐 Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar (Executive Lounge, LINK All Day Dining, La Cucina Mediterranean Kitchen)




上一篇写了关于我入住的行政豪华套房,这一篇则分享我在这里的用餐经验。

Previous blog post was about my stay at Grand Deluxe Room Pullman Hotel, while this post is about my experience about the fabulous dining experiences. Below is some brief intro about Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar:

当天酒店大厅的登记柜台人员带领我到这建筑二十六楼的行政酒廊办理入住手续,并告诉我这是专门提供给入住特定商务豪华套房住客的私人休闲场所,全天开放并提供早餐和晚餐。我本身就喜欢清静的地方,可以让我不受干扰的思考和完成手头上的工作,看到这地方时就满心欢喜,心想待会可到这儿来吃些小事,喝杯小酒,阅读度日。

Still remember the hotel staff bring me to their 26th floor Executive Lounge for check-in procedure, the staff told me that Executive Lounge is for their guest that stay at their Executive floor room. Here was specially reserved for their honourable guest where they can enjoy all day breakfast and dinner that specially prepare for their guest. 

I personally like the place that is quite so here is that place that suit me the most. I can do my pending stuff here, planning for my next trip or read some book here. While doing all this stuff, I can enjoy some snacks and have a cup of cocktail here. What a life.

这里提供的菜色并不如大厅的其它餐厅多样,但是食物精致美丽的摆盘呈现让环境变得特别高雅。人潮不多,是个安静舒服的环境。晚餐之前,我都呆在这里放松一日疲惫的心情,品尝甜点与白酒,和工作人员谈天说地。隔日早上,本想说到楼下的Link餐厅用餐,不过午餐与Yen在那儿有约,便又回到这里,早餐的供应样式不多,不过还是由本地特色的椰浆饭,隔壁桌用餐的洋人家庭可是喜爱得很。至于我,拿了几片饼干,切几小块乳酪,挑些面包果酱,倒杯果汁,便是一日的开始。

The dishes served here do not have that much variety as compare to LINK restaurant at lobby. But the food served here was so delicate and the way they decorate and served it make all those food look so delicious and elegant. I spend my time here before having my dinner to get rid of all the tiredness of the day. I try some of the dessert and had a sip of some wine and mean while chatting with their lovely staff. 

For breakfast, the variety is not much but all the breakfast essential such as bread, cheese, fruits and juices were available here. The foreign traveller next to my table enjoy their Nasi Lemak so much and keep on praising it.

咖啡馆售卖的圣诞饼干装置屋

咖啡馆座落在酒店大厅,一入大门便可看到,通过落地窗的自然采光,给人宽阔明亮的感觉。这地点很适合与友人相见闲聊,喝杯咖啡吃上一些小零嘴,那几天快到圣诞节,咖啡馆都是售卖一些圣诞饼干屋装饰,五彩缤纷的设计让人赏心悦目。

Petit café was located at hotel lobby where you can see it right after you walk through the front door. There was very spacious where they use natural light as a part of their design. Petit café is suitable for those who want to have some chatting with friends while having a cup of good coffee and some dessert. Christmas was around the corner when I pay my visit there, so all their dessert was in Christmas theme. It is so colourful and joyful.

全天候国际与道地菜色融合自助餐厅

我本身有些抗拒自助餐,尤其是类似上阁屋那种人潮多的餐厅,不论食物怎样多样化味美,大批人潮的移动和东西南北涌来的喧闹声即刻抹杀它们的美味,只能留下不舒服的回忆。有些自助餐厅的味道也令人感到不舒服,空间的设计与各类食材在空气中混合的味道皆影响一个人的食欲。

这间是酒店全天候国际与道地菜色相融合的自助餐厅,专门为顾客提供早午餐和晚餐。对于食物味道的喜好,各有所爱,五星级酒店提供的食材必然不差,但值得一提的是良好的用餐环境,自然采光的餐厅仿佛就是有使空气流通的魔力,宽敞明亮的环境也让人窝心舒适。

I personally had some phobia towards buffet especially those like Joyoga where it was pack with so many people. Although it have many variety of food but once I see the crowd, all the tastiness of the food immediately disappear. I just don't like it and feel uncomfortable about it.

Pullman Hotel served all day international and local buffet in their LINK restaurant. In term of taste, I can’t give much opinion because everyone taste palate was different. But for a 5 stars hotel buffet, the food that they served won’t be that bad for sure, the ingredients od food are fresh and nice. The things that impressed me the most is the dining environment where they use natural light which give you the feel of you can breath the fresh air. I just simply enjoy my lunch here.

看到Yen与厨房为我准备当天的晚餐菜单,心里是很惊讶和感动的

入住酒店当晚,Yen安排我与她一同到位于大厅的La Cucina地中海风味餐厅晚餐。地中海餐一向受到大众的喜爱,健康的营养用膳方式更是现代人追崇的饮食标准。餐厅的菜单灵感源自于地中海地区如意大利南部和希腊大部分地区,厨房为用餐者提供各式的新鲜进口肉类海鲜食材,以道地的烹煮方式来便满足客人的味蕾。

The night that I stay at Pullman Hotel, Yen was so lovely that arrange a dinner at La Cucina restaurant with me. Mediterranean cuisine is quite popular and well accepted. It was also the best choices for those modern lifestyle. Their menu was inspired mostly from Italy and Greece. The chef use different way to prepare kitchen fresh ingredient. You can taste the original taste which is what the chef wanted to present to his customer.

餐厅以橘红黄色格调设计,照片虽看似明亮,但实际上却是偏浪漫的昏黄灯光

我特别喜欢餐厅设置的开放式厨房,可看见整个烹煮的过程,炸炖煎煮,味道飘香于餐厅,像到了外国小村庄的温暖小家庭里,当主人看见客人到来,便在一旁的厨房升起火准备佳肴招,这带给顾客一种休闲自家的用餐理念。

I like the design of the restaurant so much where they had an open kitchen. You can see how to chef prepare your food and smell the taste during the process of cooking. Suddenly I feel that I was at a family house in Europe where they was preparing dinner for me.

开放式的厨房,我们就坐在旁边,在等待是还可看看厨师烹煮的模样,也显示出了酒店对餐厅卫生情况的重视

用餐结束后,和厨师聊聊,以感谢他们专门为我们准备今晚的晚餐,也顺便了解上图的一些特调酱汁和高汤

不得不说,餐厅的披萨美味,饼皮脆口,我特爱野蘑菇披萨,乳酪融化与蘑菇和百香草的结合让人变得食欲大开

First Course - Smoked Duck Taglioni
(roasted pumpkin, spinach, pine nuts, crumbled feta in a creamy tomato sauce)


餐厅为我们准备的第一主菜是意大利熏鸭肉饺子,也是当晚惊艳味蕾的一道菜。香味淡淡的南瓜和熏鸭肉做成内陷,搭配番茄酱汁,然后撒上菠菜和松仁。面皮与馅料口感特别顺滑,我从来没有想过南瓜的味道可以如此清甜爽口,整体的味道搭配丰富,切了粘上绵软的酱汁入口确实是让人满足。

They prepare Smoked Duck Taglioni as first course. This dishes give lots of surprise for me and is one of my favourite dish that night. All the ingredient was a perfect match. I never think that pumpkin can taste so good and have such a freshness in it. It worth a try for all of you who wanted to try something different.

First Course - Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca
(smoked steaky beef shavings in a tomato compote with fresh caper berries, sun-dried tomatoes, basil and calamata olives)

服务生端上「Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca」,Yen向我说这道菜的由来,还是挺有趣的。其实,意大利文「Puttanesca」的意思是「婊子」,据说是一群应召女郎在深夜到餐馆吃东西,结果厨房没剩下什么材料,老板唯有把厨房随手可取的食材混合烹煮,就创造了这一道菜——烟花女意大利面。由于味道咸香,许多顾客闻名而来,不过名字稍微粗俗,后来多数餐厅称之为较优雅的「Capperi E Olive」。试想某日,你在中文餐馆的菜单里看到「荡妇面淫妇汤」,大概也会好奇它们的命名与由来吧。

Yen explain the history of Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca which it is quite interesting. “Puttanesca ” means “bitch” in Italian. LOL!!! It’s a tangy, somewhat salty Italian Pasta dish invented in the mied-20th century. So Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca roughly translates to “spaghetti of the whore”.

Second Course

Second Course - Braised Australian Grain-Fed Beef Cheek
(served with parmesan polenta and olive tapenade)

餐厅为我们准备的第二道主菜是澳洲炖牛面颊肉,这算是比较高级的西式料理,一般都会用红酒腌制慢火炖,不过这里并不提供酒精,所以采用高汤炖上四五个小时。牛颊肉炖久了,就炖出入口即化的口感,非常鲜嫩,让人难忘。日后到其它餐厅享用这道主食,必定会很嘴挑,因为眼前这盘大大提升了我对牛颊肉的美味标准。

The chef also prepare second course which is Braised Australian Grain-Fed Beef Cheek. This consider a high class dishes which normally the chef will braised the beef cheek in red wine. Since they don't use alcohol in their dishes, so they substitute it with beef stock. Beef cheek was just melt in your mouth yet you can taste the freshness of the ingredient. This dish really change my expectation on beef cheek which it can taste so delicious.

Second Course - Forno Gamberi Arrosto
(oven roasted king prawn served with portobello mushroom, with slow cooked olives and cheery tomato in balsamic dressing)

Dessert - Forandola di Dolce

这里适合在一天的劳累工作后,与友人在用餐聚集,喝上美酒尽情放松,餐厅酒吧聘请的乐队和演唱者也为此空间增添无限的活力。这里衷心感谢Yen为我准备的活动和安排的套房住宿,也感谢你陪我一起用餐,希望来日再见,愿你生活安好喜乐。
