忠于自己，是生命中很重要，也很艰难的修行。
它和做自己不同。做自己，这个词太任性，廉价的励志说教，通常以自我中心为出发点，像是你刻意展现某种特质或个性，要获取别人的认同「我就是这样」，而拿来当借口的挡箭牌。
你说你不在乎，其实你在乎得很。自我催眠的效果也不会持久。
忠于自己是经历磨练和反复思考，由生活不同阶段的收获所组成的价值取向，内敛而不喧哗。
