当天下了飞机，吃了顿午餐，便搭德士前往吉隆坡铂尔曼酒店。我入住的是行政楼层商务豪华套房，到了接待处登记后，接待员便把我领到二十六楼的行政酒廊进行登记手续，我特别喜欢员工们的亲切，待人彬彬有礼的态度。整个登记手续都在轻松地谈话间完成。回到房间，放置行李后，在高处看看外头的风景，很大很大的雨落下，这座城市的尘埃被洗得干净，隔着玻璃窗，房里全是清新雨的味道。

Once I arrive at Kuala Lumpur and had my lunch, I straight away call a taxi and heading to Pullman Kuala Lumpur Bangsar. I stay at their Grand Deluxe Room. Since it is "Grand Deluxe", I had been bring to Executive Lounge on 26th floor to check in. All the staff there are so nice and friendly. It just take a while to complete the whole check in process. It was raining cats and dogs that day once I check in, but the rain just wash off all the dust and I enjoy the freshness of the city.

再过一个星期就是圣诞节，我没什么特别的圣诞庆祝计划。在我印象中，除了几次与友人聚餐交换礼物，二十多年来我的圣诞节过得挺平凡无味的。家人亲友大多不是基督徒，通常都只是到外头图个圣诞节气氛，没有固定的庆祝方式。难得这一次有机会参与Novotel Kuala Lumpur City Centre 酒店举办的圣诞节感恩夜，还邀请在大马缅甸难民小孩关爱团体My Myanmar Refugee Children - United Learning Centre一起参与圣诞晚宴，让我过了非一般的感恩节日。

Christmas is coming in just 1 week and yet I do not have any plan for this year Christmas celebration. For me, Christmas celebration is just gathering with a bunch of friends and have gifts exchanged. Since I’m not a Christian, I do not have any specific way of celebration. It’s just going out there and enjoys the atmosphere that full of Christmas feel. I’m so happy that I had been invited by Novotel Kuala LumpurCity Centre to attend a Christmas appreciation event. They also invite children from My Myanmar Refugee Children - United Learning Centre along to join the dinner. This is such meaningful and memorable night in my life.

我们沿着峇都丁宜山路蜿蜒而上，露天巴士行驶缓慢，岛屿的海景在树木间若隐若现。空阔地段，放眼望去是开阔的海平线、蓝天白云、渐层的海，而围绕着我们的是明媚阳光，山间风景，还有那欢畅放松的心情与欢笑，原来人在自然中是可以如此轻易的心旷神怡。风拂过脸颊的温暖，我细细看一片居住了二十多年的海，平静宽阔，仿佛享受生活就像不必在乎一趟旅程的目的地，而是体验将沿途风光尽收眼帘的美好。

The journey begins where we hop on an open-air bus. Along the direction to Batu Ferringhi, the view of island and sea was looming among the leaves. Blue sky and the gradient of the sea water can be seen clearly. Feel the wind blowing through the cheek and have a look to the place that you had been stay for the past 20 years. To enjoy life seems as easy as starting a journey without caring of the destiny and most of the time you will experience the most unexpected things out of your imagination.

我想起读过的圣诞节小故事。

我想，人们相惜相爱，是发自内心为对方付出，倾尽自己所有。爱不是挂在嘴边的几句复读的言甜蜜语，重要的是愿不愿意为对方付出，一个简单实用又意义的礼物，和一个拥吻也许是温馨佳节真情付出的表现。

Christmas remind me of a short story that I read before.

〈The Gift of the Magi〉is about a young married couple that came across lots of challenging in order to just buying a Christmas gift for each other with their poor income condition. The wife who called Della sell her hair to a nearby hairdresser in order to buy a fob chain for her husband who known as Jim. While Jim sell his watch in order to buy a comb that Della dream about it so much. In the end, they just realize that the gift that they bought was not applicable and useful at all. This short story told us that the most valuable gift in the world is something you could not buy with money, which is LOVE.

Still remember the time I was at Kuala Lumpur, I was quite free and I have my own time to wandering around the city. If you do not slow down your step and look at what happening around you, I'm sure that you had missed a lot of the chances to understand this wonderful city. At KL, you can ignore the busy traffic, the hygienic problem at some places and the phenomena of foreign worker that slowly become our residences. But you will put all this things aside and explore and experience this city. For example, wake up late at the weekend and time find a good restaurant or cafe to have your brunch.

古晋是马来西亚砂拉越的首府，是东马最大的城市，也是个多姿多彩的城市，民风淳朴，生活步伐没西马城市那么匆忙。河滨公园美丽的河畔就像是城市的一条命脉，汇聚了娱乐歌舞，休闲美食，旅游漫步，仿佛是紧扣整座城市节奏与文化的脉搏。无论白天黑夜，我们很多时间都花在河岸旁散步（除了要驱车前往较远的地区），靠双脚感受这片土地的美妙。

古晋也是个美食家喜爱的胜地，此帖文的重点主要介绍一些道地的美食，我和我弟在这里三天两夜尽可能把肚量撑大，只为了吃更多的美食，回来后整理成这一篇帖子，可供即将到访古晋的旅人参考参考。

Kuching located at East Malaysia of Sarawak where it is the capital and largest city in Sarawak as well as the largest city on the island of Borneo. According to verbal local history, Kuching was named after the Sarawak river which is known as “Sungai Kuching”. The whole city was then build around the side is the river.

Kuching is a place that food lover should not miss it. There are tonnes of foods to be tasted and it can just simply take 2 or 3 days to try all those must try food in Kuching. For those who plan the pay a visit to Kuching, do not rush. You guys should stay at kuching for at least 2 to 3 days and enjoy the city slowly.

距离参观「MADE IN PENANG - Interactive Musuem美因槟榔博物馆」已经一年的时间。当时是壁画摄影的热潮期，参观的人数可真多，小小空间在无数摄影闪光灯和咔嚓声的宣传下成为至今槟城观光的必游胜地。还记得那时我们一群人待了好几个小时，如今，欢笑声和照片只能是脑海与友人的美好回忆。前几天随意游览网页看槟城近期消息，发现刚开张的「槟城 3D Trick Art 博物馆」 ，第一反应便想到快点召集友人重温拍照的欢乐时期，毕竟因为各自的工作缘故，这有是一次难得的四人相聚。

Since the last time we visit Made In Penang Interactive Museum is already almost 1 year. Now, Penang have another fun, interesting and hot spot to visit, Penang 3D Trick Art Museum. As compare to MIPIM, we like here more. Here have wider space for visitor to take photo or may be the time we visit have not much people there. We really enjoy the time taking all crazy photo there. The most important is finally 4 of us have time to gather again!!

那是上个月的事情，我们晚餐后想找个舒适的小店续杯，顺便谈谈生活趣事。 Chez Nous 是一间让人不经意就会错过的小店，不过得知这间店已久，只是找不到对的时间到访，刚好那晚在那一带兜绕，就决定在下着雨的天喝上几杯小酒暖胃。我们在路口街道泊了车，撑着伞抵达门口时，一位亲切的洋人（过后在脸书发现是店家比利时籍老板）告诉我们厨房打烊了，只好离去，提醒自己下次要早点来。

This was happened since last month since we plan to visit Chez Nous. I still remember that after our dinner plus it was a rainy day, we decided to find a cafe that sell alcohol to let us warm up a bit. Ya.. I know... These was just our excuse to have some alcohol boost. But we were so unlucky that when we reach Chez Nous, we were told that their kitchen was closed. Too bad!!!

迟来的一顿晚餐：聚餐庆祝丽莉的生日，由她翻牌子点了古迹区的某间餐馆，可是兜来兜去却找不着，没行驶错方向，确定抵达目的，可是眼前的景象：招牌不知所踪，昏黄的街灯映在玻璃窗口，清空的餐厅在古屋岁月摧残的斑驳墙里像个废墟。庆幸口袋里还有几个可翻的牌子，就这样来到了槟州大会堂旁的Western Spice餐厅，又是一场欢乐一场微醉的夜晚。

Birthday celebration!!! Is Lily birthday and we decide to bring her for a great dinner. After our discussion, we decide to choose Western Spice to celebrate her birthday.

Paper Pepper... A very interesting cafe with a theme of postcard which is getting less and less familiar nowadays. Still remember the last time you send a postcard to someone? Or you not even send a postcard before. Then you should visit this store and start to send one.

吉隆坡有几间不错的简约咖啡馆，透过玻璃自然采光，木制座椅橱柜摆设，大地色系配件地砖等营造出简约的时尚感，挺适合喝上一杯咖啡，翻上几页书，思考整理笔记。一个人闲逛吉隆坡，美丽的午后基本上都在忘我的发呆和摩卡冷却的时光中流失。槟城就是少了这类咖啡馆，一般所谓的「特色咖啡馆」都被一些装潢噱头和宣传弄得眼花缭乱，好不容易在近期看到一些简约风格的小餐馆。

我和朋友说，看Joyeux面子书的照片，觉得这个地方好「Instagram」，尤其是上楼的顶上的灯泡装置，可惜我们抵达时外头下着大雨，服务生告知屋檐漏雨暂不开放，错过了照片中浪漫的谈话地点，不过底楼简约的木质装修确实让人轻松。

Finally we have time to meet again after some time and we decided to meet up since all of us are free. There are no reason that we should not meet up every time we are at Penang. We just have never ending topics to talk and endless laughter in our outing. There will be never enough outing for us if we have free time to meet up.

We still remember that day we decided to pay a visit to Joyeux. It was a rainy night with very comfy weather. We have no idea where is the exact location of it, we just follow the not very trustable GPS to guide us there. End up we make 3 rounds to finally found Joyeux because we could not find any signboard of their shop. They just have a small banner that place in front of their entrance to prove that there is Joyeux. To be honest, you will easily miss their shop if you do not pay much attention. But in a good way, it means that it is a very low profile and cozy place to hang out without having to squeeze with crowds.

浮罗山背在槟城的繁华市中心外，座落槟城岛屿的后山，可说是有着丰富的大自然生态，且纯朴农村生活的人情味，榴莲飘香季节更是众人旅途不可错过的重点之一。这地方有着摄人的魅力，但这美丽的绿色也开始面对发展的洪流，若有时间，前来一趟，感受自然的清新，体验小镇生活的乐无忧虑。

如果有明确的时间规划，也可在一天内到访客家山寨品尝客家菜，私人养马场的骑马乐，莎能牧羊场的奶羊之旅，而美味的Kim’s Laksa 金加沙便是你们的美食选择之一，多么欢乐的一日游。

Balik Pulau is the downtown of Penang, where it was located the other side of island. It claimed to be rich in natural ecology and the simplicity of rural life which was totally opposite to the town area. And durian's season is one of the things that you should not be missed and must pay a visit to Balik Pulau because here was famous with the yummilcious durian. Balik Pulau is also a place that will attrach those people who like photography since here are surrounded my mother nature.

莎能牧羊场并不难到达，沿途有目的地的指示牌，具体地点是在浮罗山背国民服役训练营旁。牧羊场的停车位子有限，庆幸我们在工作日参观，农场只有负责人和我们三人（还有另三人，一群即将离去的访客）。农场不大，不过一下车便可感受羊只辨识度高的味道，和亲切的负责人女孩打了招呼便开始往羊场里拍照去。

Who doesn't love nature? Saanen Dairy Goat Farm is one of the choices that you can get close to nature. It was easy to find the location of the farm as they had sign to show to the exact direction along the road. To be exact, it is somewhere near Balik Pulau national service training camp. We was lucky that we managed to find parking lot easily because they provide limited parking space. The goat farm was not too big and once we get out from our car, we can smell the unique smell of goat. We also welcome by the person in charge which was very friendly and we felt so warm. Then, our journey of photography started...

这是个很清新好玩的地方，座落在浮罗山背，绿水青山的乡间生活使其远离了城市的繁华。

驱车前往返回养马场的时候，会经过一条乡间小径，两旁是满满的香蕉树，形成一片嫩绿色的矮墙，抬头即看见天空，窄小的空间却让你感受到自然的无限扩大，风拂过大地，万物一片生机勃勃。我告诉友人我们应该停车排上几张乡间照，可是香蕉树给人各种不同的印象，他们更是觉得诡异，毕竟有关香蕉树的传说不少，而当阳光、蜿蜒小路、香蕉绿叶、果实累累几个组合在一起的时候，画面总是美好。

After an hectic week of working, stress and busyness, it time to get away from the bustling city. Countryside Stables Penang is the place that perfect for a getaway. Spend some quality time with your family in the mother’s nature, inhale fresh air that you can’t get in city which is way better than all those weekend activity that held in city. Once, you will forget about all the stress that you undergone and start enjoy your weekend with pure happiness.

好长一段时间，我们各自忙学业忙生活忙工作，分隔几地，聚在一起的时间很少，部落更是没法子好好经营。虽然期间大家都会找时间吃喝玩乐，不过有时想写，却有心无力，本来想直接放弃这部落，可是想目前我的记忆容量实在没有很大，很快因为忙碌就忘了一些事情。我享受当下，便期望日后能从这里的点滴回味那遗失且美好的时光。哪怕有一天我老去，还能一窥自己少年青涩的模样，是时候整理一些照片，开始敲打方块字来记录生活。

It has been a while we did not meet up since all of us are busy with our own career and studies. Finally we get to spare sometime and have a short meet up during weekend. The first things that come to our mind is pick a good restaurant and have a great dinner (especially those that sell alcohol!!!). After we made some research, we decided to pay a visit to That Little Wine Bar.

旅行让我的眼睛变得贪婪，什麽都想看，什麽都想变成相机裡的记忆。第一天，我对这座城市的印象不太好，建筑街道简陋，交通拥挤溷乱。我很难脸带微笑走在各肤色嚷嚷匆匆的人群中，感受不到应有安全感和放鬆。

槟榔时光隧道历史博物馆是一趟回到过去的时光机，一入门便回到四百年前的老槟城，一切从一九五二年开始。博物馆分别以十二个时间段来阐述整个槟榔社会与文化的发展，并以不同的语言包括中文、英文、马来文、日文、韩文、阿拉伯文和泰文进行解说，当中穿插许多画作，收藏古董品，人物雕像等供你免费拍摄的细节，其中有趣的是还有儿童版的历史简要概述。

Lets ride on time machine and go back to old Penang at Pinaon Time Tunnel, Penang. Once you enter this museum, you are already at 400 years back in Penang and everything begin from 1952. This museum is categorize into 12 periods that present Penang social and cultural development using 7 different languages that include mandarin, english, malay, japanese, korean, arab and thai. Besides that, there are many paintings, antic collection, statue and etc to let their visitor have more understanding on Penang and also take lots of photo with it. There are also kid's version history description that we found that is very necessary and interesting because it is important to let the next generation understand our own history.

Absolute Thai (The Garden, Midvalley Kuala Lumpur)

邻国的泰国餐在大马的风行程度，可以说是各国料理中一家大小皆宜，且受欢迎程度极高的菜色，尤其是酸辣开胃的冬阴功汤（Tomyam），大马人的最爱啊。此行的目的并不是到 The Garden, Midvalley 购物，临时改变想法转换购物地点，以餐馆环境优美和口味为标准选择了Absolute Thai Garden解决当天的午餐。

Thai food!!! Tell us who doesn't like thai food. Thai cuisine has been so popular among Malaysian for decades especially Tom Yam soup!!! Which is our favorite of all time. The purpose of visit The Garden, Midvalley was not shopping. Our purpose is to find a restaurant that have nice environment and delicious food, and here comes Absolute Thai Garden!!!

这趟旅程是一时冲动订购机票而成行的。前三天呆在诗巫的朋友家，让她们领着我们趴趴走，这地方没有什么特色景点，所以几乎一整天都在吃喝打发时间，肠胃也撑大了。接着转机到古晋，在机场向租车柜台租了辆小车，四天时间依赖导航系统行驶，跟着先前完成的自制旅行参考指南，和旅行网站Trip Advisor的推荐来决定行程安排。

这一星期啊，我在砂拉越过得悠闲自在。

What an unexpected journey... Kim bought his flight ticket without second taught and then the journey begin. For the first 3 days, Kim stay at his friends house at Sibu. Sibu did not have much attraction places, the things that they do the most id eat, eat and eat. This is wat Kim do for the last 3 days ar Sibu. Afterthat, Kim take another flight to Kuching, Sarawak. He rent a car at airport and start his 4 days journey at Kuching by using GPS. Kim had do some homework before this trip, so the entire journey is according to what Kim had planned.

我在这里遇见一只狗一只猫，和友人小聚叙旧，为老朋友美霞庆生。

楼下的小黑狗兴奋的在我脚边跳跃，我喜欢抚摸它的头和颈，一旁的朋友吓到还劝我快离开，可它那双忠诚无辜的眼神无法让我不凝视它。楼上卫生间门前有只猫，在陌生人面前很生涩，动也不动羞得低头不望我，不像平日遇见爱撒娇的猫咪。至于我们呢，无论生活多忙碌，大家抽出时间外出小聚交流，也特意为明天生日的美霞庆生。

And this is the time that our old friend, Bee Hsia's birthday again... Is time to have a celebration and a small gathering no matter how busy we are, we still will spare some time to celebrate her birthday with her.

在街头艺术家Ernest Zachaveric「艺术是垃圾，垃圾是艺术」的艺术展里，我被感动不是因为作品的专业审美诠释，毕竟我不懂绘画这一方面。而是他的作品和槟城人有种亲密的关系，浓浓的地方人情味特别容易让人产生共鸣。游览拍照期间说不上深刻和震撼，但这些画作却唤醒了曾经存在我脑海中的记忆，像走马灯一样闪过许多画面。

In Ernest Zachaveric "Art is rubbish is art" art exhibition, Kim was impressed not only by the professional paintings (But Kim do not understand this aspect), but Zach art works that correlation with the culture of Penang. These paintings are more a like a reporter that telling story about old Penang.

English high tea is so popular during Victorian era. High Tea is often a misnomer. Most people refer to afternoon tea as high tea because they think it sounds regal and lofty, when in all actuality, high tea, or "meat tea" is dinner. In England, the traditional time for tea was four or five o'clock and no one stayed after seven o'clock. Most tea rooms today serve tea from three to five o'clock. But nowadays, English high tea becomes a kind of lifestyle in our life.

If one going to high tea, he or she must be fed up with the hectic life and need so relaxing place to get rid of all those worries. If a group of friend who going for high tea, their purpose sure will be gossiping about other. This are what comes to Kim’s mind when it comes to high tea.

Malaysia is a country that is well known with all kind of tropical spices and also widely used in Malaysian cuisine. Tropical Spice Garden which located at Penang has most of the spices in their garden. If you are interested with spices, this is a place that you should not miss.
