下午若能遇上和煦的阳光，兜着车子找到一家环境舒适的咖啡馆，心情会无比飞扬，神采也会畅快奕奕。黑茶壶（Black Kettle）是一半烘培店，一半咖啡馆的经营方式。老屋的整体面积宽敞明亮，被切割成几种不同气氛的用餐坐位，可以随着心情找角落喝咖啡用餐度日。面包柜子整齐摆放，多样的烘培糕点相当吸引人，趁热尝了牛角包，外酥香内柔软，配着热茶更美味。

Sunday afternoon, we were strolling around to find a café to have a cup of coffee and some food. Black Kettle Penang is a half bakery half coffee shop. The entire space is huge where it is divided into different dining area with different concept in it. You just need to follow your mood and pick a spot that suit your mood. The bread and pastry is nicely place in each tray which is very appealing. We order a croissant which is very crispy outside and soft and chewy inside. Together with a cup of tea, it is a perfect combination.

点了餐单上的里科塔美式煎饼（Ricotta Cheese Pancake），意大利软酪里科塔颜色雪白，味道较淡，口感比使用一般奶油乳酪细丝香滑。浆果、鳄梨、香蕉、火龙果的搭配酸甜清爽，可惜的是松饼内陷不够蓬松，要不然会有更多层次的满足。牛肉汉堡有两个巧思，先是选了意式脆皮拖鞋面包（Ciabatta），这里算是每日烘培，所以出炉的面包都很新鲜，接着搭上炒菠菜，味道创意又有趣，但主要食材牛肉的处理则有些失望，像是冷冻或解冻不当，因此肉质干燥不多汁，口感稍差了一些。

Ricotta Cheese Pancake which is obviously made from ricotta cheese that is white in colour, mild in taste if compare with other cheese and also have a smooth texture which taste like cream. The ricotta cheese pancake is top with seasonal berries, avocado and roasted seeds. Too bad the pancake is not fluffy enough which is out of my expectation. May be the pancake I like is those fluffy type, so I personally not that fancy this type of denser pancake. Their beef burger has to interesting point where they use Ciabatta instead of normal burger bun which is freshly baked daily. But the main ingredient, beef patty is a little disappointing. It taste like those store bought frozen beef patty which doesn’t taste good at all.
